How long does cheese last in the fridge?

The answer to this question depends on the cheese in question.

However, there are general rules. Soft cheese generally lasts seven days in the fridge at a minimum.

Hard cheese can last for three to four weeks.

Can you eat mouldy cheese?

You can, in some cases, eat cheese that has been growing mould.

Hard cheese can be eaten even if they have begun to go mouldy.

Simply cut the mould off and enjoy the rest of the cheese.

Soft cheese, grated cheese and sliced cheese should all be thrown away if they have started to go mouldy.
