LeBron James is seemingly pumped about the future of his Los Angeles Lakers franchise.
The Lakers have made several moves in the first couple days of the free-agency period, including re-signing contracts for returning players Austin Reeves, Rui Hachimura, DeAngelo Russell and Jared Vanderbilt.
The team also added new players Taurean Prince, Jaxson Hayes, Cam Reddish and Gabe Vincent.
For each of these signings, LeBron shared an Instagram story as a sign of approval.
“LeBron James’ Instagram story on Saturday afternoon featured photos of all the players the Lakers made agreements with in the first day of free agency. Certainly a tacit sign of approval from the L.A. vet entering his 21st season,” Lakers insider Dave McMenamin reported.

LeBron is heading into the first year of his two-year, $99 million extension with the Lakers in 2023-24. The all-time great NBA superstar is locked in for this coming season, but his 2024-25 season is still uncertain.
The second year of LeBron’s extension is a player option, meaning he could opt out and sign elsewhere after this coming season. There’s been some serious speculation that The King structured his contract this way so he can sign wherever his oldest son, Bronny, gets drafted in 2024.
At least for this coming season, LeBron will look to make the most of his new Lakers roster.
