Fresh off winning his fourth NBA championship in 2020, LeBron James appeared on the Road Trippin Show.
That’s when James raved about Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic.
“Luka is one of my favorite players in the NBA today,” he said. “From the simple fact of how I play the game is why I love the way he plays the game.
“Team first. Gets his guys involved. If you challenge me to score, I’m going to score and keep my guys involved at the same time. But I play for the team and a sense of joy.

Three years later, his comments resurfaced on social media following the news on Monday.
Dallas Mavericks All-Star Kyrie Irving, who will be unrestricted free agent this summer, wants the team explore trading for James. The former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates reportedly have interest in playing together again.
Irving desires to create a big three alongside James and Doncic in Dallas.
James, 38, is expected to return for his 21st NBA season.
