Love Island fans convinced couple will split only a day before final after row

Tyrique and Ella became embroiled in a furious row during tonight’s episode of Love Island, leaving fans fearing for their relationship.

The fiery pair’s fallout comes only hours before the grand final on Monday (July 31) and now viewers think they may have scuppered their chances of winning. 

The drama unfolded during Sunday’s installment of the ITV2 dating show (July 30) when Molly received a text that said: “Islanders. It’s time to unleash your competitive side in today’s challenge Sports Day. #InItToWinIt #NoSweat.”

Team captains Tyrique and Molly were tasked with picking an Islander to join their teams.

Joining Molly on the blue team was Mitch, Jess, Ella B and Lochan while the rest of the villa, including Whitney, Sammy, Zach and Ella took their spot in Tyrique’s red team.  

The Islanders competed in a number of challenges including an egg-and-spoon race and tug of war in a bid to claim the top spot. 

But following the sports day task, Tyrique sensed his girlfriend Ella was annoyed as she told him: “Little things are irritating me today. Anytime I speak on anything it becomes a big thing.”

Tyrique responded by asking: “What’s your problem? We’ve been through this – communication.”

“Sometimes when I say something and I’ve said this to you before – you shut me down all the time”, Ella responded before they threw a couple of unsavoury words at one another. 

With the Love Island final only one day away will the couple manage to salvage their relationship in time? Some fans of the ITV2 show do not think so and predict Ty and Ella will split up.

Taking to Twitter, Kaosi said: “Can’t see Ella and Ty lasting very long on the outside, because why are you effing and blinding at each other over nothing already??? The bubble is about to burst #LoveIsland.”

Belle0408 stated: “Ella and Ty. Most expensive argument ever. Just cost you two 50k.”

While another chimed in with: “Ty and Ella are barely lasting inside the villa, let alone outside #LoveIsland.”

The Love Island grand final airs on ITV2 at 9pm.
