Heritage knitwear outfit Lyle and Scott has just dropped off its Spring/Summer 2022 collection dubbed High Summer.
Serving as a tribute to the brand’s deeply woven heritage in golf, the seasonal offering combines classic staples with forward-thinking designs to create pieces for life on and off the court.
Spanning both refined knitwear and performance gear, the Scottish label’s new line up draws inspiration from the natural landscapes of the golf courses, with contouring prints and jacquard constructions referencing the view seen from above.
Elsewhere, beloved classics are updated with modern details, trims, logos and unexpected colour pops which bring a sense of retro sportswear to the overall collection.
Technical introductions this season include the reintroduction of Lyle and Scott’s windjammer fabric, which was first launched ‘90s as an independent membrane. Updated for the warmer months, the material now arrives with fleece backing, and has been made into weatherproof hooded jackets, mid-layers and trousers.
Rounding out the range is the Aviemore Slim Fit Polo and Technical Polo, both of which are constructed from recycled polyester and bamboo charcoal which wick away any sweat while also acting as an anti-odour preventer.
