You know the saying, “You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain”, well looks like Married At First Sight’s Domenica Calarco is doing just that.
In a complete dog act, the 2022 season favourite has confirmed she’s dating her ex-husband’s best friend.
No, not TV husband Jack Millar’s best friend, but the bestie of her real life legal first husband now ex, Luke Rodely.
In a quirky twist, Dom’s new man is also named Jack. She confirmed she met her new love a “very very long time” ago and denied that it is a “dog act”.
“Look, some people will talk and say that it’s a ‘dog act’ or whatever you wanna call it,” Dom told Listnr Radio on Wednesday.
“He was a little bit hurt just feeling like, ‘Oh, OK, wow, that’s weird, why didn’t you tell me?’ But we’re really happy and that’s all that matters really.”
Previously, Dom attacked online outlet So Dramatic, which published the rumours, calling the story “pure lies” and “completely and wholeheartedly untrue, false, misleading, completely degrading”.
However, in a back flip she decided to make their relationship official during her radio appearance.
She said the pair initially connected during COVID before her appearance on MAFS.
“At the time, it wasn’t the right timing for him and I to be in a proper relationship so I went on my MAFS journey,” she told listeners.
“Funnily enough, his name is Jack and I married a Jack on MAFS.”
Dom also made it clear that her followers won’t be seeing Jack on her social media feeds anytime soon.
“No, no sight of my special man,” Dom said.
“Purely because he just doesn’t feel comfortable. It’s not something he wants to be involved in. I completely respect that.”
