Married At First Sight bride Alyssa Barmonde has revealed she had sex with her ex-Duncan James while on the reality show.
While chatting on the Back To Reality Podcast with hosts Selina Chhaur and Taku Chimwaza, the mother let it slip that the couple did not wait until intimacy week to have relations.
“I do have a bit of truth bomb,”
“We did not wait til intimacy week. So we had told everyone that we were waiting, that it never happened,” she confessed.
The 35-year-old confirmed that they had sex during their honeymoon and that they decided to keep it a secret to stay respected in the group.
“He had said, ‘Look, let’s not tell anyone about this. I feel like we’ll be a bit more respected if we just wait until after Intimacy Week’. And I was like, ‘’That’s a good idea.’’’
Barmonde recently spoke out on Instagram after ex-James discussed her romance with co-star Josh White on the TOSSER podcast.
They discussed how White had reached out to James to let him know how and Alyssa were planning to go on a date together.
James wished the potential couple “all the best”.
“It wouldn’t have stopped anything it was just out of respect, he wasn’t asking me, he was informing me… and I was like, ‘bro go for it. Mate, I’m happy for ya,’’’ Duncan recalled.
In regards to his comments, Barmonde wrote on her Instagram: “Is it also weird that Duncan threw me and Josh under the bus about going on a date to deflect from the fact neither him nor Evelyn didn’t give me ‘respect’ to tell me about their relationship and I had to hear from someone else hmmmmm.”
James confirmed his relationship with co-star Evelyn Ellis in May.
