Manchester United and Newcastle United have joined Chelsea and Liverpool in the race to sign wonderkid Adama Bojang, according to reports.

Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Wolves have also all been linked to the Gambia U20 forward.

Premier League clubs have became aware of Bojang after his impressive performances at the U20 World Cup in Argentina this year.

The 19-year-old currently plays for Steve Biko FC in Gambia and is available for a bargain price of €3m (£2.6m), report the Guardian.

The bad news for English clubs is that Bojang is thought to be more keen on a move to the Bundesliga.

It is believed that Bojang has received an offer from an unnamed German side following reported interest from both RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Bojang helped Gambia register a runner-up finish at the most recent U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

It is set to be a busy summer transfer window for several Premier League clubs, with Erik ten Hag’s United and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle looking to bolster their squads ahead of 2023-24 Champions League campaigns.

Liverpool and Spurs are also keen to strengthen having missed out on the top four last term.

Palace and Wolves finished 11th and 13th last season and would be able to offer Bojang more regular playing time if he decides to pick England over Germany.
