Bulls legend Michael Jordan recently told TMZ that he doesn’t approve of his son, Marcus, dating Larsa Pippen. Naturally, this sparked a ton of speculation about a potential family rift.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Marcus shot down the idea that his father disapproves of his dating life.
In fact, Marcus Jordan claims he received his father’s “stamp of approval.”
“We spent Thanksgiving together last year, and my family loves her. They think she’s great,” Marcus said. “And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with whoever I’m dating.”

Jordan’s son admit that his family was a bit shocked when they first found out about his relationship with Pippen.
“Everybody had an opinion at first,” he added. “I think there was some shock and interest early on, but I think that was the whole point of us trying to spend some family time together during the holidays.”
Marcus, 32, has been dating Larsa, 48, have known each for years. However, things didn’t get romantic until late 2022.
Time will tell if they can go the distance.
