Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its mid-sized SUV Grand Vitara in India. It is a new breed of SUVs that was unveiled in mid of July.

While the automaker hasn’t revealed the official Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara launch date, but it is expected that the event will be organised soon.

The car is a bold, dynamic & aggressive SUV that evokes a sense of premiumness, according to the Chief Technical Officer of Maruti Suzuki CV Raman. “Bold, dynamic & aggressive SUV, evoking a sense of premiumness. Up front, The Grand Vitara exudes confidence with its overall high stance,” he said.

According to the company, the new Grand Vitara is powered by the revolutionary self-charging Intelligent Electric Hybrid technology. It is also equipped with the Suzuki AllGrip Technology.

The Grand Vitara will come equipped with several new technological features. The car gets the 1.5 litre Intelligent Electric Hybrid with e-CVT, enabling the self-charging hybrid electric vehicle to offer superior acceleration and performance.

The car will also come with features like panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, 360 view camera, 17-inch alloys, 7-inch MID, various active and passive safety equipment, wireless charger, etc.

In terms of safety features, the mid-sized SUV  will come equipped with 6 airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), Isofix child seat anchorages, pedestrian protection system and more.

Also, the company claimed that the 2022 Grand Vitara can run 1200 km in one full tank of fuel. The strong hybrid trims of Grand Vitara would return a fuel efficiency of 27.97 km per litre while the mild hybrid variants would offer 21.11 km per litre.
