During the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank 2023 Ladder Match by winning the scheduled qualifying match against Raquel Rodriguez.
Firstly, Trish broke her own streak of not competing in a singles contest on Raw for the past 12 years by featuring in this match. Secondly, she didn’t have to put much effort to pick up the win.
The qualifier witnessed a DQ-end, thanks to Trish’s current rival Becky Lynch who originally came out in aid of Raquel to prevent ringside shenanigans created by Trish’s ally, Zoey Stark. This spilled into a fight outside the ring.
Becky took out Stark after which Trish got out of the ring and went after Becky. In an intense moment, Becky took threw Trish into the barricade in the presence of the referee who had to call for the match bell.
As a result of the disqualification, Raquel lost the match and Trish was awarded the win alongside the sixth and final spot in the Money in the Bank 2023 ladder match. Interestingly, her ally Stark will also be a participant in the match.
Pointing out the fact, Becky stated in an after-match promo that the numbers’ game isn’t in her favor as her past rivals DAMAGE CTRL’s IYO SKY and Bayley will also be there to prevent her from winning the MITB ladder match.
The only other babyface participant in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match will be Zelina Vega from SmackDown. Six women superstars have been announced for the match while seven men will compete in the men’s counterpart.
The 2023 WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event goes down, Saturday, July 1 from the O2 Arena in London, England. The currently confirmed match card for the PLE is given below:

– World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor
