Now, with the new episode approaching its official release, the website of Mushoku Tensei hinted at what to expect from Rudius’ journey next. Rudeus will feel overwhelmed by his emotions and will confide in Soldat, starting to cooperate with him. While residing in Pippin, Rudeus will encounter Elinalise, a former member of Paul’s party who had once journeyed with Roxy. During their time together, Elinalise will impart important information to Rudeus.

What Happened Previously On Mushoku Tensei?

Counter Arrow rejoiced after completing their mission, and Rudeus’ reputation as Quagmire increased even more after saving Sara. As they drew nearer, Sara amused the group by asking Rudeus to assist her in purchasing daggers. After buying two daggers, they went to a pub, where Sara got drunk and asked to be taken to Rudeus’ room. Sara left as a result of Rudeus’ uneasy feeling during their private moment. Rudeus was distraught and drinking alone when Soldat approached him.

As their argument escalated, Rudeus attacked Soldat, but Soldat didn’t fight back. Upon learning about Eris leaving him, Soldat took Rudeus to a brothel, where he met Elise, who thanked him for healing her sister previously. She later informed Soldat about Rudeus’ impotence, and despite Soldat’s advice to talk to Sara, Rudeus, still drunk, berated her. Sara, shocked, slapped him and rejected him, ending their relationship once and for all.

Devastated, Rudeus attempted suicide, but Soldat intervened. Soldat encouraged Rudeus to pursue Sara, but he declined. Soldat then proposed a joint mission to the Neris Kingdom’s labyrinth, which Rudeus agreed to. Meanwhile, Elinalise heard rumors of Rudeus’s triumph over a giant Red Dragon and discovered his presence in Pippin, Basherant Kingdom.
