LeBron James remains sidelined as the Los Angeles Lakers make a push towards the playoffs.
The team has 10 games remaining on their schedule as James reportedly continues to plan on returning to the floor before season ends.
Fox Sports analyst Ric Bucher says the star forward shouldn’t return even if he’s fully healthy.
“I’m old school; the idea of not playing when you’re capable of playing has never made sense to me, but we see a lot of that” Bucher said. “But I can make a case that it doesn’t make sense for LeBron to come back and play, even if he’s capable of playing.”
“If he’s not even able to get at least a couple of regular season games, the idea of going from zero to 60, jumping in a play-in game, which seems the most realistic, after he hasn’t played for weeks to a month means there’s a chance of him getting injured again.”
