NBA Fans In Awe Of Anthony Edwards' Performance On Sunday

The USA men’s basketball team capped off its exhibition showing in Abu Dhabi with a 99-91 victory over Germany on Sunday.

The Americans found themselves trailing by 16 in the third quarter and later 86-77 in the fourth before an 18-0 run put them in control. Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards helped key the winning spurt.

Edwards produced a game-high 34 points, including 12 in the final period. The 2023 Western Conference All-Star stuck a pair of threes, two clutch free throws and an impressive baseline turnaround during the fourth quarter.

Edwards’ performance sparked widespread praise on social media during and after the game.

“Not gon’ lie… Really looking forward to calling some @Timberwolves games this coming season. Anthony Edwards is must see TV,” said ESPN’s Mark Jones.
