Next James Bond – Rising Hollywood star responds to new 007 rumours

It’s been over two years since the last James Bond movie was released, with Daniel Craig exiting the role so explosively after a record 16 years.

The 60th anniversary of the film franchise and the new reality TV show 007 Road to a Million have come and gone with fans eager for next Bond news.

Among the bookies’ favourites like Aaron Taylor-Johnson and James Norton is a rising star who is getting 007 attention.

Euphoria star Jacob Elordi is a 6 foot 5 hunk with a classic Bond look.

The 26-year-old turned down Superman and has just played Elvis Presley in Priscilla, but could he be cast as the next 007?

Speaking with Extra, Elordi said: “That’s beautiful… I just like that people maybe want to put me in their movies. That makes me really glad.”

Aside from being tall, dark and handsome, the rising star is Australian but that shouldn’t hold him back.

After all, Sean Connery replacement George Lazenby is from Down Under and Elordi proved he can do a perfect posh British accent in his latest movie Saltburn.

He’s currently on 40-1 to be the next Bond and maybe just a little too young this time around, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Barbara Broccoli gave him an audition.
