The Denver Nuggets have agreed to a pre-NBA Draft trade with the Indiana Pacers.

Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nuggets are trading a 2023 first-round pick and a 2023 second-round pick in exchange for the No. 29 and No. 32 overall picks in this year’s draft.

This is some nice business by the Nuggets as they’re able to move up in this year’s draft. They’ll have a chance of selecting two solid players with the picks they got.

Sure, they had to give up their first-round pick in next year’s draft but that’s the price you pay when you’re trying to compete for another title.

The 2023 NBA Draft is set to take place this Thursday (June. 22) from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It will start at 8 p.m. ET and be televised by both ABC and ESPN.
