Of the entire Zara sale, these are the 15 editor-approved pieces you need to see

There are few events like the Zara sale. While you may well have already tackled the seemingly never ending discounts hosted by online powerhouses like ASOS and Net-A-Porter, sometimes you just need the good old fashion high-street classics – and Zara is the go-to.

It only comes around twice a year – once after Christmas and one mid-summer – but the Zara sale is always one worth waiting for. And it’s certainly proving us right this time around.

Think summer saviours like floaty dresses, swimwear, sandals and beach bags galore.

When is the Zara sale?

It’s happening right now. It officially kicked off last night at 9pm on the Zara app, at 10pm on Zara.co.uk, and in-store this morning with tonnes of seasonal best buys all discounted by at least 30%.

Of course, it can be tempting – now that they’re all on offer – to snap up the slightly more rogue, fashion-forward pieces that you’ve had your eye on, but we’d recommend staying relatively close to your true style this season. We’ve all regretted those impulse buys. If you have even a slight feeling that anything in your basket may well end up on your Depop or Vinted account before you so much as wear it, put it back on the metaphorical shelf.

Aim for shapes that you know you love, pieces that can be worn multiple ways and timeless staples are a good place to start. If you’re umm-ing and ahh-ing over an item, check that it fits one of those categories and you can be pretty confident that it’s a justified purchase.

Feeling overwhelmed? It’s easy to, the Zara website is renowned for being tricky to navigate. Fear not, though, as we’ve trawled the entire contents of the sale section and bring to you the 15 editor-approved pieces you should make a beeline for. You’re welcome.
