Oleksandr Usyk’s wife has labelled Tyson Fury ‘The Gypsy Queen’ following the collapse of the undisputed title fight between the two heavyweight champions.

Frank Warren and Alexander Krassyuk, who promote Fury and respectively, confirmed the fight is dead on Wednesday night after failing to agree the terms of a rematch clause in the contract.

With a blame game between the two camps likely to unfold, Katerina Usyk hit out at Fury by posting a mocked up fight poster for a fourth fight with Derek Chisora.

Fury was widely criticised for taking a third fight with ‘Del Boy’ last December, having comfortably beaten him twice on two previous occasions in 2011 and 2014. Last year’s fight was no different, with Chisora on the receiving end of a one-sided beaten down as Fury strolled to a successful defence of his WBC title.

Alongside the fight poster, Katerina Usyk wrote: ‘This is the fight that the fans of Belly Fury are waiting for.’

She also shared an image of a woman with Fury’s face photoshopped on with the caption ‘The Gypsy Queen. And for the last time, being greedy is very bad. The best is yet to come.’

It emerged on Wednesday morning Fury vs Usyk was on the brink of collapse with the undefeated Ukrainian shutting down training camp after contract talks stalled again.

Appearing on talkSPORT, Warren insisted there was still hope of a deal being agreed.

The Queensberry Promotions chief revealed Fury had backed down in his efforts to have the rematch clause removed, with the sticking point the precise terms of the split for that second fight.

Krassyuk agreed to resume talks that afternoon but by the evening, both men had thrown in the towel. ‘I spoke with Frank, and we both admitted that the fight is off,’ Krassyuk told iFLTV.

The mandatory challenger for the WBA title Daniel Dubois is now in line to fight Usyk next with talks set to get underway this weekend.

The 25-year-old suffered a serious knee injury in December which has sidelined him for the start of 2023 and it remains to be seen if he will be ready in time to challenge for Usyk’s titles.

If not, Usyk and his representatives may turn to Filip Hrgovic, who is the mandatory challenger for the IBF belt.
