One dead in motorcycle crash on Hwy-1 near Bolinas

MARIN COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) — One person died in a motorcycle crash on southbound Highway 1 near Bolinas on Saturday, and parts of the roadway were closed during the response, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 1:15 p.m., CHP said. Emergency crews responded to the area of Fairfax Bolinas Road.

Hwy-1 southbound closed at Horseshoe Hill Road and the northbound side also closed at Stinson Beach as of 2 p.m., authorities said. By 4:25 p.m. the roadway was partially reopened, the Point Reyes National Park Service said.
