A packing expert has revealed how to get much more into your suitcase

In a recent video, she explained how she managed to fit in a lot of clothes for her sister going on holiday.

She said in the video: “My sister’s heading on a 4 day trip. She refused to pare down any of this clothing.

“We have a total of 38 pieces and three pairs of shoes – this is how you do it.”

She first said to use packing cubes, and then explained what a “packet fold” is to make the most of the room.

This is when you lay all of the clothes on top of each other and fold them into one pile.

She continued: “Lay them out by sleeve length and fold them together.”

Kayleen said this also makes unpacking easier as they are all easy to find.

She then added this to her packing cube which took up much less space than if she had folded them all separately.

The video has had more than 209k views and people in the comments loved the hacks.

One person wrote: “Umm this was a game changer.”

Another said: “I am a chronic over packer. This was so helpful to see.”

A third wrote: “I think that packet fold concept just changed my life.”

It’s not the only packing trick that experts swear by.

The clever rolling and folding method has been dubbed the ‘overnight burrito’ thanks to being so tightly packed.

Bag company Trakke used the easy method to pack a T-shirt, a pair of underwear, a pair of socks, a charging pack and a toothbrush.

Another method is a stacking technique for their clothes, instead of the classic roll or fold.

And one woman revealed her “best ever packing hack” but not everyone agrees.
