Dining is one of the highlights at the Preserve. The Double Barrel Kitchen features traditional, elevated American cuisine. This is the place to indulge in crab and corn fritters, a margarita flatbread, shrimp cocktail with colossal shrimps and a perfectly sered filet mignon served with mushroom risotto. However, for a truly unique dining experience, consider reserving one of the property’s Maker Mark’s Hobbit Houses. Set in hillside boulders, guests enter through a carved wooden door and enjoy a magical evening where grilled specailites are paired with a bourbon tasting menu. This is a fantasy, storybook experience for grown-ups. Another fun experience happens in the Safari Tents, where you can enjoy a Laphroaig scotch and Cohiba cigar tasting; a platter of cheese, venison salami and other treats are a nice accompaniment. In the summer, you can enjoy light bites poolside in the H2O Cafe and the White Birch Cafe is the place to grab something more casual.
