It’s a new offering from Cadbury — and it’s already making ripples across Australia.
The company’s new Boysenberry Ripple chocolate block has sent social media users who can’t get enough of the sweet treat into a sugar rush frenzy.
Chef Nick Vavitis couldn’t contain his delight, sharing a video to social media of himself trying the new chocolate block.
“Wow, Cadbury Australia has done a really good job here, guys,” he said.
“It reminds me exactly of … I can’t even speak, it’s so good!”
He went on to rate it a 14 out of 10.
Instagram account @FoodFindsGellong was also blown away by the treat.
“Phew — we thought this was only going to be available in NZ but yay it’s here in Australia,” it said.
“We love Jelly Tip Whittakers and boysenberry ice cream so this is the perfect combination.
“Good ratio of silky jelly to chocolate. Could always do with more vanilla crème and a stronger boysenberry flavour, but really well done and it’s great to see a different flavour that hasn’t been done.”
Others were just as glowing about the new chocolate, which was first introduced into New Zealand before making its way to Aussie shores.
“Dear God, this looks so good,” one social user wrote.
Another said: “I need this.”
