Scrubs Creator Bill Lawrence Believes a Reunion Movie Is Inevitable

Scrubs ran for nine seasons from 2001 to 2010 and developed a devoted fan base who have been waiting eagerly for a revival ever since. Around nine months ago, the cast and creator of Scrubs reunited for a panel and revealed that they had plans for a future project, which many fans speculated would be a movie. In an interview with Variety, Lawrence explained that the cast and crew get-togethers are not just for work but because they genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Lawrence believes that a reunion movie is inevitable because of the strong bond between the Scrubs cast and crew. He even joked that they’d end up doing a Scrubs reunion the next time six months go by without them hanging out.

“I think it’s inevitable that it happens,” Lawrence said. “The joke of it with us is the first time that six months go by that we don’t hang out, we’ll end up doing a Scrubs reunion.”

Zach Braff Shares Thoughts on Possible Scrubs Movie

I think it would be fun for us to all do something like that. We just have to get Disney to be into it and Bill Lawrence to be into it. I think it will happen; the fans seem to really want it to happen.”
