LeBron James made some headlines on Monday night when he openly discussed the possibility of retiring.
After the Los Angeles Lakers got swept in the Western Conference Finals by the Denver Nuggets, James said to the media that he wasn’t sure if he was going to play next season and that he had a lot to think about.
Some media pundits, including Shannon Sharpe of Undisputed, don’t buy that for a second.
“LeBron is coming back. I think LeBron believes the Lakers have what it takes to win a title next year. If he and AD (Anthony Davis) can stay healthy and they get a shooter, he can go win a title,” Sharpe said.

James has also shown no signs of slowing down. He finished this season averaging 29 points and eight rebounds per game while also being an absolute force in the playoffs.
He’s also said he wants to finish his career on whichever team drafts his son Bronny so he likely won’t go back on his word for that.
