LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. wowed millions with his performance at the McDonald’s All-American Game and at the dunk contest earlier this week. For FOX’s Shannon Sharpe, he’s seen enough to form a strong conclusion about young phenom.
On Wednesday’s edition of First Take, Sharpe had nothing but high praise for Bronny. Sharpe asserted that not only did Bronny prove he can play with the best, but he can “play and shoot at an elite level.”
“Bronny James showed he belongs amongst the best. He can play and shoot at an elite level,” Sharpe said.
Basketball fans are definitely intrigued by what kind of a career Bronny can have now. But while many wonder whether he can live up to the expectations set by his father, not many are arguing whether he has the talent to even make it into the NBA:

“I hope Bronny ends up successful in the NBA but man, the pressure to live up to dad will be haunting from the start,” one user replied.
“Pretty clearly a top 10 guard in the class. And better than Mikey,” wrote another.
“Bronny will be a lottery for sure but wherever he goes and does this yr after school could make him a top 5 pick,” a third wrote.
Bronny James isn’t the once-in-a-lifetime prospect that his father was 20 years ago. But he showed the wider world this week that he’s not trading on his father’s name.
