The left-arm pacer also dismissed Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne and number three batter Kusal Mendis to clean the top-three of the hosts.
The cracking return to Test cricket has made Shaheen Shah Afridi on the 18th Pakistan bowler to pick 100 wickets in Test cricket. He is now in the company of a few of the greats of the game.
The youngster has the second-highest number of wickets among active Pakistan Test cricketers. Yasir Shah, who has not represented Pakistan since July 2022. is the only active Pakistan bowler who has picked Test wickets than Afridi.
