We love an autumn hair trend, from voluminous ’70s layers to cinnamon brunette shades we’ve got our cuts and colour down, as for this season’s hottest accessory? The headband is back in.
We saw it at Dior AW22, where models wore delicate crystal alice bands. Roksanda accessorised outfits with black ribbon headbands and David Koma brought back the ’90s zigzag comb headband.
As for the trends latest disciple? Bella Hadid served up a Preppy Girl Era-meets-Rockstar Girlfriend look, wearing a simple black headband, toughened up in a leather finish – with matching leather outfit ofc – while in Paris for fashion week. Proof that the school girl accessory doesn’t need to feel too prim or cutesy.

Whether you’re into something subtle or one with bells and whistles, there are five trends dominating the headband arena right now that’ll thrill people from either end of the sartorial spectrum…
