Getting her caffeine fix on the day of her 54th birthday, which was July 24, the superstar shared a picture of herself in her dressing room surrounded by a rail of clothes, with a preview of her beauty look for that evening. Masterminded by celebrity make-up artist Mary Phillips, the singer opted for a monochromatic statement in creamy coffee hues, taking the trend to new heights with a retro ombré lip.
To complement the bronze makeup, J.Lo went for a tousled updo. Hairstylist Lorenzo Martin added texture to her hair with light waves. He left a few face-framing pieces out in the front, which cascaded towards her collarbone area, and you can also see her bright blonde highlights.
An effortless take on summer bronze, the latte make-up look was brought to critical attention courtesy of global trendsetter Hailey Bieber, who recently switched up her signature high-shine glazed doughnut aesthetic for a different morning treat. But the trend actually dates back to 2018, thanks to content creator Rachel Rigler, who posted a TikTok video referencing the earlier work of make-up artist Tanielle Jai.
