Lightscape at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden: Step into an after-dark light-up world at “Lightscape,” a one-mile trail of art installations that celebrates the sparkle of the holiday season, opening at the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden opens on Nov. 17 and runs through selected dates through Jan. 2. Downtown Burbank Winter Wine Walk and Street Fair: The street fair begins at noon Nov. 18. The street fair is free to attend and runs through 8 p.m. Fair schedule includes live musical performances and a “magical snowfall” at the main stage (San Fernando Boulevard at Palm Avenue). Light Up Main Street – Old Town Newhall: The City of Santa Clarita presents the event, 4-8 p.m. Nov. 18. Hollywood Christmas Parade: The 91st annual parade kicks off, 6 p.m. Nov. 26. Parade participants include celebrities from movies and television, equestrian teams, marching bands and Santa Claus.
