Tim Allen seen opening his clothes to another co-star in ‘Home Improvement’ clip

The day after Tim Allen strenuously denied exposing himself to Pamela Anderson on the set of “Home Improvement” in 1991, a blooper clip from the sitcom resurfaced, showing him opening his clothes to another female co-star.

In the clip though, Allen apparently had boxer shorts on when he made the revealing gesture to co-star Patricia Richardson, TMZ reported. The incident also happened in front of a live studio audience, TMZ said.

TMZ published the clip Tuesday, which shows Allen wearing a kilt as his character, Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, alongside Richardson, who played his wife in the show.

“Hangs long, I just wish it was shorter,” Richardson says in the clip. Allen then surprises her by lifting up the kilt.

The camera doesn’t show what’s under the kilt, but Richardson told TMZ, “People ask me what was under the kilt when he flashed me, he was well dressed under there, I was just shocked that he lifted the kilt, not by a man in boxer shorts.”

Allen’s gesture to Richardson may have been harmless and all in good fun, but the resurfaced clip comes at an awkward time for the comedian.

Allen on Monday was forced to deny allegations he flashed Anderson when he first met her on the set of the family sitcom. In her new memoir, “Love, Pamela,” Anderson writes about being a 23-year-old actress booking the role of Lisa “The Tool Time Girl” on “Home Improvement.”
