LeBron James and Draymond Green have made it abundantly clear they have a ton of respect for each other. That’s why NBA fans aren’t shocked to see them in France together for Paris Fashion Week.
However, the timing of James and Green’s latest trip is interesting to say the least.
On Monday, it was reported that Green declined his $27.6 million player option for the 2023-24 season. That’ll allow him to hit the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
Although a deal between Green and the Lakers isn’t imminent at this time, basketball fans can’t help but wonder if a partnership is brewing.

“Confirmed he’s a Laker,” one fan tweeted.
“Draymond trying his hardest to get into the banana boat group,” another fan commented.
Green, 33, would be a fine addition to the Lakers. He wouldn’t be cheap though, and general manger Rob Pelinka has other free agents to worry about, such as Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura.
