Twiggy’s child now facing wedding day heartache

Twiggy and Nicola Forrest’s non-binary child Sophia now faces wedding day heartache after their parents announced their shock break-up less than 24 hours ago.

The Home and Away actor is set to tie the knot with fiancé Zara Zoe but now faces the prospect of their parents sitting on separate sides of the aisle.

Sophia appeared oblivious to their divorce bombshell only 72 hours before the news broke.

Just days before the Forrests’ billion-dollar breakup, Sophia flaunted a picture-perfect life via Instagram, sharing photos of a raving romance with Zara Zoe and life behind the scenes on the Summer Bay set, with no signs of the family breakdown.

“Been holding this dump in for a while,” they captioned the post.

And only a month prior, another happy post graced the actor’s Instagram.

“The difference a year makes,” they captioned the post which saw a comparison photo of them alongside fiancé Zoe, a year apart.

The pair became engaged in April 2022.

“Oh me oh my, she proposed back ~ what a dream,” Forrest captioned a happy snap.

And their parents break up wasn’t the only thing coming to an end this week, also coinciding with their final episode as Tegan on the popular Channel 7 soap.

They also gave up their inheritance in 2017, with their mining billionaire father saying most of his fortune would be going to philanthropic causes, and not to the actor or their two siblings.

Sophia Forrest revealed they were happy to not be inheriting the majority of their father’s wealth.

“Inheritance has never really made sense to me. You watch it tear families apart and it baffles me,” they told the Sydney Morning Herald.

“You’re not entitled to that money, you haven’t earned it, you haven’t worked for it — I don’t see why you think it should be yours. So we all agreed to give it all away.

“It’s a relief to know it’s not my problem. It’s going to better things. I don’t need it. I’m going to work and make it on my own.”

Sophia and Zara are yet to announce their wedding date.
