UFC 267: Jan Błachowicz vs. Glover Teixeira live results and highlights.

For the first time since January, the UFC returns to Fight Island, on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, as it presents UFC 267, featuring one undisputed championship contest and one interim title fight.

The main card of UFC 267 will air at a special 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT start time, with prelims taking place at 10:30 a.m. ET/7:30 a.m. PT. Fans in the U.S. will be able to watch this card using just an ESPN+ subscription — no additional pay-per-view purchase is necessary.

In the main event, Jan Blachowicz makes his second defense of the UFC light heavyweight championship, as he meets popular veteran Glover Teixeira.

Blachowicz has won five straight and nine of his last 10. Blachowicz won the then-vacant light heavyweight title last year on Fight Island at UFC 253. He successfully defended the belt against middleweight champ Israel Adesanya at UFC 259.

Teixeira has gone on a solid run since the start of January 2019, winning five straight. This run, which includes two post-fight bonuses, saw Blachowicz take a split decision over Nikita Krylov, a brutal TKO of Anthony Smith and submissions of Karl Roberson, Ion Cutelaba and Thiago Santos.

Teixeira last challenged for the UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 172 in April 2014, coming up short in a decision loss to Jon Jones.

The co-main event will see an interim UFC bantamweight champion crowned as former champion Petr Yan tangles with Cory Sandhagen.

Yan won the UFC bantamweight championship at the first Fight Island event, stopping Jose Aldo at UFC 251. Yan lost the championship in a highly controversial fashion at UFC 259, where he put on a good performance against Aljamain Sterling before an illegal knee left Sterling unable to continue, causing a DQ and marking Yan’s first loss since his ACB days.

Yan and Sterling were scheduled to meet in a championship rematch on this night until Sterling withdrew due to injury.

After his own first UFC loss against Sterling, Sandhagen put himself on the map with highlight knockouts of Frankie Edgar and Marlon Moraes before coming up short in a close, highly competitive encounter with a returning T.J. Dillashaw in July.

UFC 267 will also feature Islam Makhachev’s return, as he takes on a short-notice fighter in Dan Hooker, as well as the return of Khamzat Chimaev.
