VERY convenient change to Bunnings sausage sizzle is here

Bunnings has announced a convenient change to its iconic sausage sizzle, set to change the way you buy your sanga.

The hardware store behemoth is offering a mobile payment option for anyone wanting to buy food and drinks — meaning you won’t need your card OR cash.

Previously customers could only use cash, forcing shoppers to get cash out at the tills before heading to the barbecue.

But the store now allows customers to use their phones to pay for sausages via a QR code. But don’t worry the traditional card and cash methods will still be accepted.

“We offer a free mobile payment option to community groups fundraising through sausage sizzles at our stores, providing an easy way for them to maximise fundraising and offering customers a cashless way to pay for their snag and support their local community group,” Bunnings General Manager of Operations, Matt Tyler told 7NEWS.
