Victor Wembanyama showed flashes of brilliance in his brief appearance in the NBA Summer League, and is now fully focused on making his regular season debut with the San Antonio Spurs.

The top overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft appears to be on the right path to success, as he was able to brush off a poor shooting night in his first game by posting a double-double in game two.

The French phenom recently underwent a slight aesthetic change after the summer league.

The new Spurs big man got a haircut, trimming down to a very low style.

The new cut is reminiscent of the way a few Spurs legends wore their hair in their prime in Tim Duncan and David Robinson.

Wembanyama is set to enter the NBA as arguably the most anticipated prospect since LeBron James.

For years, he has been touted as the league’s next transcendent player, a unique combination of size and skill that could fundamentally change the way the sport is played at the highest level.

Whether or not he’ll be able to live up to that billing remains to be seen, but he has a lot of fans – and even some of his fellow NBA players – excited about his potential.
