While Beckham wore a brown suede pencil skirt with chain details that matched her bag—both from the designer’s eponymous label—Zeta-Jones paired her vibrant red leather skirt by Herve Leger with matching red pumps and a black cape. As demonstrated by these two outfits, a thigh-high slit on a skirt that hits below the knee can be a versatile wardrobe piece for women of all ages. But, if you’re not into baring that much skin, the style also works perfectly well with tall boots. In fact, we prefer that pairing in winter.
