WA couple determined to not let COVID ruin their big day

Lovebirds Shayne and Nicole got engaged on Christmas Day in 2020 and after an exhausting year in the pandemic they were determined to not let COVID-19 impact their special day.

The couple decided to push back their big day as far as they could to avoid any disruptions, and their patience paid off.

Nicole admitted her “fairy tale wedding” came true and the special day couldn’t have gone any better. Their beloved daughter Ellie, 3, was a brilliant flower girl.

Attire matched the Australian native floral theme, with groomsmen donning light grey suits and the bridal party in sage green dresses.

When and where

The happy couple said ‘I do’ at The Vines resort on December 10, 2022.

Dress

Finding a wedding dress can be a long process for some, and a snappy experience for others. Well, when Nicole stepped into her sixth dress at Tuscany Bridal, she knew it was the one. Her heart was won over by this beaded gown made by an in-house designer, so she cancelled every appointment she had at other bridal stores.

Honeymoon

Newlyweds Shayne and Nicole honeymooned at Hidden Valley Forest Retreat in Margaret River and described their time as “a week of bliss in the forest”.
