Agatha: Coven of Chaos is a spin-off series of WandaVision. It stars Kathryn Hahn as the villain Agatha Harkness, and is set to begin filming in January.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Agatha: Coven of Chaos will begin filming on January 17 in Atlanta. Many other MCU productions have also been filmed in the same city. Head writer Jac Schaeffer, who also wrote for WandaVision, will be directing multiple episodes of Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Monteiro will also direct some episodes.
Kathryn Hahn teases new songs for Agatha: Coven of Chaos
Kathryn Hahn has hinted that there may be new songs in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Agatha Harkness wanted to take Wanda’s powers for herself and was trapped by the Scarlett Witch. The series featured Agatha’s song called Agatha All Along, which became a hit among fans. Speaking to TVLine, Hahn said that there is a possibility of new songs coming in her spin-off show.
“Who knows, there may be a little song here or there… but no one is saying anything about that — certainly not me!”
It would be interesting to see how Agatha escapes from the trappings of Scarlett Witch. Most of the cast from WandaVision is making a return to the Disney+ show, and Aubrey Plaza is playing an important role. The series is set to premiere in late 2023.
