DiVincenzo joined Golden State on a two-year deal with a second-year option last offseason. In a career-high 72 games, he averaged 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.
The former No. 17 pick upped his field-goal percentage to 43.5 after shooting just 35.1 percent with the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings in 2021-22. He also drained a personal-high 150 three-pointers on an improved 39.7 conversion rate.
The bounce-back season could net DiVincenzo a multi-year deal with a higher annual payout, and the rumor mill has always generated a potential suitor. According to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer, there’s “growing noise” of him reuniting with former Villanova teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart on the New York Knicks.
