What do Tom Brady, Kanye West and Bradley Cooper have in common? Irina Shayk

it’s hard to imagine that Tom Brady, Kanye West and Bradley Cooper have much in common, other than that each is a rich and famous man who has enjoyed success at the top of his respective profession.

But it turns out that all three men share an affinity for a supermodel: Irina Shayk. In fact, the 37-year-old Russian beauty could stand at the center of a Venn diagram made up of circles that represent each of the three men’s lives.

Cooper, the Academy Award-nominated actor and director, was in a serious enough relationship with Shayk for five years that they had a daughter together.  West, the troubled rapper and fashion designer with avowed white supremacist sympathies, briefly hooked up with the supermodel in the summer of 2021, according to reports, shortly after his high-profile split from ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Now it’s Brady’s turn to enjoy the company of Shayk. TMZ reported Monday that the retired NFL superstar, 45, and Shayk are dating and that they spent the weekend together in his home in Los Angeles. They initially met on the island of Sardinia in June at the wedding of billionaire art heir Joe Nahmad and model Madison Hendrick, Page Six also reported.

Shayk allegedly “threw herself” at Brady at the wedding, though Shayk’s representatives vehemently denied that she had been any kind of aggressor, TMZ said. But rumors have been swirling around the two since then. Last Friday, Brady was photographed picking Shayk up outside the Hotel Bel-Air in his black Rolls Royce and driving her to his Los Angeles home, with the two not emerging from his home until 9:30 a.m. the next day, TMZ reported.

The two enjoyed another “sleepover” on Saturday night, and they were photographed on Saturday afternoon, stopped at a light on their way back to his house, TMZ said. Brady was seen stroking Shayk’s cheek, and Shayk was seen leaning towards him In her seat. The two also appeared to be laughing together.

News that Brady has so quickly publicly moved on to another supermodel, following his divorce from Gisele Bundhen nine months ago, may not be sitting well with Bundchen, TMZ and Page Six reported. The Brazilian supermodel is “not happy at all” about the news that her ex-husband is dating Shayk, especially with the news coming a few days after her 43rd birthday, sources told TMZ.

But another source told TMZ that Bundchen — who is the one who pushed for the divorce — may feel relief in that Brady and Shayk’s dalliance is “helpful to (Bündchen’s) freedom.”

Whatever is going on with Brady and Shayk, the Russian model has certainly developed a reputation for dating a wide range of famous men. She also dated soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, before becoming best known for her relationship with Cooper from 2015 to 2019, People reported. 

Their romance became the subject of tabloid headlines when Cooper was on the Oscar campaign trail with Lady Gaga in the fall of 2018 to promote their film “A Star is Born.” Headlines focused on whether Cooper, who also directed the film, had strayed from his relationship with Shayk by becoming a little too friendly with Lady Gaga while the two worked together, playing rock stars who become lovers in “A Star is Born.”

While sources close to Shayk, Cooper and Lady Gaga denied that Cooper and Gaga had become romantically involved, Shayk and Cooper eventually parted ways. She was next oddly linked to West for a few weeks in the summer of 2021 after they were spotted vacationing together in the South of France. The two then turned up in San Francisco for a romantic weekend, according to TMZ, which reported that they looked “hot and heavy” together.

TMZ reported at the time that West and Shayk had a professional history: She had walked the runway at his Yeezy fashion shows in Paris and he once name-dropped her in some of his songs.

Shayk’s reported relationship with West didn’t last long, and it was reported that she tended to see him more as a friend than as a romantic partner. West also couldn’t be considered to be great boyfriend material, given that he was embroiled in a bitter divorce from Kardashian and was gearing up for a career-crushing series of public meltdowns and antisemitic rants.

Last year, Shayk and Cooper sparked reports that they had gotten back together. Maybe they were following through on their vow to be dutiful co-parents to their young daughter, Lea. But they also made a public show of acting like more than amicable exes, according to reports.

Shayk posted a Halloween party photo in October 2022, showing herself in a sexy costume and sitting seductively on Cooper’s lap. Several days later, Shayk and Cooper were spotted on a romantic walk in New York City, packing on the PDA. This romantic stroll was taken as confirmation that they had reunited as a couple, the Daily Mail said at the time.
