In a move that could send shockwaves through the NBA, Chris Paul is heading back to California – but not to Los Angeles.
According to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards are finalizing a deal that will send Paul to the Golden State Warriors as part of a package for Jordan Poole and future draft assets.
Paul was traded to the Wizards just a few days ago after spending the last few seasons with the Phoenix Suns, including a trip to the NBA Finals in 2021.
Now he’s heading to the Warriors, where he will team up with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson for what may be the greatest collection of teammate talent he’s ever had. More importantly, it could be his best-ever chance at winning a long-desired NBA title.
