Woman in China hunting for boyfriend ‘learns he’s in Norwich with wife and kids’

A woman in China searching for her boyfriend allegedly found out he was in Norwich with his wife and three kids.

Rachel Waters, who was born in the US, reportedly took to Facebook after her boyfriend went back to the UK for a visit in April and didn’t return.

She said she was ‘worried’, adding that he should have been back by now.

But reports say she was later shocked to learn he was married with children.

A friend claimed there was no overlap between the relationships and the man had been separated from his partner – but is now back together with her and ‘giving it a go’.

According to The Sun, Rachel’s Facebook post read: “I have an unusual ask. My boyfriend and I live in Shenzhen, China.

“He went home (Norwich) at the beginning of April to visit and was supposed to be back in China by now.

“However, I have not heard from him recently and am worried something might have happened. If anyone knows of anything, please reach out to me.”

According to the report, a friend of the man’s partner replied that the situation was ‘not funny’.

“He has a Mrs and children and I really feel for her right now! And another girlfriend in China it seems.”

Friends said the man had been working in Shenzhen, China, when he became trapped by the Covid pandemic.

It was then he started a relationship with Rachel, it is claimed.

Rachel’s Facebook post has since been removed and she has not commented on the media reports.

The man’s mum is said to be aware of all the posts but declined to comment further.
