World’s sexiest referee Claudia Romani nearly fouled out

Claudia Romani has been called the “World’s Sexiest Referee” but that may not keep her in the good books of Instagram.

The 39-year-old model, influencer and soccer official is back posting barely-there bikini snapshots on the social media platform where she has more than 1.3 million followers.

Romani, who now calls Miami home, has previously been a cover girl for Playboy, GQ, Maxim and Cosmopolitan.

The Italian native rose to fame in 2014 when she announced she was returning to her homeland to become a soccer referee. But it has been her off-field antics that have been generating heat.

Most recently, she posted a slew of snapshots of herself frolicking on South Beach in a passionate pink two-piece bikini.

Romani captioned the images: “@callista.couture has the nicest, classiest… best quality bikinis ever!!! ♥️♥️♥️ What’s your favourite pic from 1 to 6?”

One appreciative fan responded: “Wow, what else can I say?”

Another added: “They are all spectacular… I will choose all of them.”

She qualified as a Serie A and Serie B referee in 2014. But her journey to officialdom has not been a smooth one.

She came under fire in 2016, after photos were published of Romani wearing an AC Milan jersey — an absolute no-no for an official who is supposed to be impartial.

Then, earlier this year she posted a raunchy bikini snapshot on Instagram and came close to being banned. One of the photos she posted was of her derriere and the zoomed-in version was, well, too much for the social media platform’s moderators.

But in 2014, she was all about soccer.

“Running around on the pitch with all those players and calling the shots is just an irresistible opportunity,” she said at the time.
