During the Night Two of the 2023 NXT Gold Rush, Tiffany Stratton successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Thea Hail. The 19-year-old challenger secured her challenger’s spot after winning a Number-One Contenders Battle Royal a few weeks ago.

Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak taught her how to apply the Kimura Lock to become the new champion. However, the ringside shenanigans proved to be too much for Hail as Tiffany escaped the match with a roll-up victory.

Mentioning that non-authoritative win at Gold Rush, Ivy Nile of The Diamond Mine faction confronted Tiffany Stratton on NXT and claimed that if it would be her then Tiffany would have no other choice but to tap out.

Tiffany shrugged off the claim and verbally blasted her after which she got booked in a match against Nile set for next week. For now, this is a non-title match where the NXT Women’s Title won’t be hanging in the balance.

At the age of just 24, Tiffany Stratton ended up winning the WWE NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground premium live event by defeating Lyra Valkyria in the finals of a tournament for the then-vacant title.

In her 26th only televised match on NXT, She gained that clean pinfall win after connecting with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on her opponent. Then last week at Gold Rush, she went through her first successful title defense.

Moving on from the NXT Women’s Champion, the reigning NXT Champion, Carmelo Hayes is also set to move on to the next feud, as teased on this week’s NXT. Top Raw Superstar Finn Balor is likely to be his next opponent.

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley made a surprise appearance at NXT Gold Rush, last week to threaten Hayes for no whatsoever reason. In response, Hayes invited Ripley and her Judgment Day buddies to NXT.

In a pre-taped video segment, Judgment Day leader Finn Balor responded to Hayes and confirmed that all the members of his faction will attend NXT. It should be noted that Balor isn’t still on the same page with his buddy Damian Priest.

Apart from these two segments featuring the top champions from NXT, more announcements are made regarding the July 11 episode of NXT set from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, next week. The full card is given below:
