WWE Raw: In-ring return; Becky Lynch, Logan Paul & more announced for July 10 episode

Originally, the former WWE Champion found his way back to WWE TV at Money in the Bank, this past Saturday night as he interrupted GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship retention celebration against Matt Riddle.

Over on Monday Night Raw, Riddle’s problems with GUNTHER and his Imperium buddies continued, Riddle defeated Giovani Vinci in a singles contest. After the match, Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser attacked Riddle and Vinci joined him.

This led to Drew McIntyre coming out and making the save. McIntyre and Riddle took out Kaiser and Vinci with ease. Afterward, McIntyre had another face-off with Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER teasing the future title match.

Then in a backstage segment, Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle got interviewed by Raw’s interviewer Byron Saxton. Riddle then pitched the idea of him teaming up with McIntyre to take on Imperium, next week. Later, the match was made, official.

It wasn’t made clear which members of Imperium will take part in the match but it seems Vinci and Kaiser be competing. This match will mark McIntyre’s return to in-ring competition since WrestleMania 39 Night Two.

That’s not the only match announced for the next episode of Raw as another top WWE female Superstar, Becky Lynch has also been announced to be in action. She will try to put away Zoey Stark in singles competition.

As seen on Raw, Becky Lynch called out Trish Stratus for a match right there on the show. Trish came out wearing a face-protective mask (just like her old gimmick) as Becky injured her face during the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Trish made the excuse of not getting medically cleared to compete. Becky then challenged Zoey Stark to a match, but Trish said that Becky will have to wait for it for another week.

On that same episode of Raw, Logan Paul will be making his return to WWE TV to meet former Intercontinental Champion Ricochet. The latter challenged Logan to meet him face-to-face in the ring and the segment was officially announced.

The animosity between these two started brewing from this year’s Royal Rumble onward after these two delivered a high-flying spot in the match. That moment went viral on social media and it earned millions of views on YouTube.

The two recreated magic, once again at Money in the Bank where Ricochet hit Logan with a Spanish Fly through two tables set up at ringside. Now, perhaps they will be entering a feud eyeing a match at SummerSlam.

In more announcements for the July 10 episode of Raw, The Miz will take on Tommaso Ciampa. Miz is apparently portraying a serious character who got himself booked in a No Disqualification Match against the former NXT Champion.

Ciampa returned two weeks ago on Raw and defeated The Miz in an impromptu match. Last week, The A-Lister got his revenge with a brutal assault on Ciampa at ringside, and now he’s looking for a proper win against his former protégé.
