Game 4 between the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns at Footprint Center was one for the ages.
Why? Because it was an exciting game that led the Suns to tie the series (2-2), which included a moment between Nuggets All-Star Nikola Jokic and Suns owner Matt Ishbia.
While going for the ball in the crowd, Ishbia flopped a push by Jokic that went viral on social media. Jokic was fined $25k for the matter.
One day later, during a pregame shoot-around before Game 5, Jokic shook hands with Ishbia after handing him the basketball.
ESPN’s NBA reporter Tim MacMahon tweeted about the matter before showing a video of the quick interaction.
“After Nikola Jokic wrapped up his pregame warmup, he walked by Suns owner Mat Ishbia and tossed him the ball. They exchanged a quick handshake.”
